Dhoni Out Of Asia Cup, Kohli To Lead

Dhoni has been ruled out of Asia Cup which is going to be played in Bangladesh in February-March 2014. Dhoni suffered a grade one strain in his left side. This happened during the test series against New Zealand, during the second test at Wellington. Dhoni will undergo rehabilitation for about ten days. The team India lead by MS Dhoni returned to Mumbai from New Zealand today after loosing both the One-Day Internationals and Test Series.

In the absence of Dhoni the team India will be lead by Virat Kohli, and Dinesh Karthik will be seen in wicket keeper's gloves. Kohli, previously lead team India in eight One-Day Internationals when Dhoni was injured during triseries in West Indies followed by tour of Zimbabwe in July and August of 2013, out of which India won 7 matches.

India's first game is against Bangladesh in Asia Cup on 26th of February. The tournament ends on March 8th which will be followed by the ICC World Twenty 20 Championship from 21st March, again in Bangladesh.
