BMW M6 Gran Coupe Launched in India, the vehicle was recently grabbed on camera by paparazzi prior to its launch in the domestic market. M6 Gran Coupe captured eyeballs at the Asia's largest 12th edition auto show, Auto Expo held in February 2014.

BMW has arranged M6 Gran Coupe with the same powerful engine that powers M5 a 4.4 litre V8 motor fitted with BMW's Twin Scroll and Turbocharging technology. The robust engine makes out a maximum power of 560 hp between 6,000 RPM - 7,000 RPM and a torque of 680 Nm between 1,500 RPM - 5,750 RPM. Through a 7-speed M double clutch gearbox power is transmitted to the rear wheels.


The 4.4 litre V8 engine enables the speed from 0 to 100 kmph within 4.2 seconds and reach a top-speed of 250 kmph which can be move maximum to 305 kmph. Company claims the vehicle to carry a decent fuel economy of 10.1 kms in a litre.

It is a long sedan being a four sedan it is not as spacious as one would think as it has a low front seating. It will be one of the prettiest BMW cars at the price in the Indian car market while also the most expensive in the balanced of the German car maker.

BMW M6 Grab coupe to be priced less than 6 Series Gran Coupe that is available for in India at a price of Rs 1.07 crore. Since the company will propose the car in India as a completely built unit, the prices of BMW M6 Gran coupe are expected to be on higher side.


M6 Gran Coupe will look a competition with Audi RS 7, the recent is provided with an engine that offer slower displacement as compared to the former’s 4.4 litre V8 engine, however, the power delivered by both the motors is same(Audi RS 7 and BMW M6 Gran coupe). In acceleration, Audi’s RS 7 scores high, the Audi Rs7 moves 100 kmph in just 3.9 seconds as against BMW M6 Gran coupe's takes 4.2 seconds to reach 100 kmph.
